TESL 0130- Vocabulary Activity



I chose matching method for this activity which students would be able to find definitions through the reading. I would use this as a pre-reading activity which would challenge students' vocabulary knowledge and familiarize them with their meaning in the context.
For this activity, I would pair students and ask them to find words’ definitions and match them before reading the passage. Read the passage and ask students to check their answers and find the answers . Then, I would go over the answers with the students and explain each word. Students can add the new vocabulary to their vocabulary journal.
